                    <description><![CDATA[<p>A leading UK children’s charity is seeking a Financial Accountant to support the delivery of its statutory financial reporting and strengthen its financial controls. Working closely with the Head of Financial Accounting and Processing, this role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and the successful delivery of the year-end audit process.</p>
<p>Salary: £54,028</p>
<p>Location: Hybrid, London</p>
<p>Contract: Permanent, Full-time</p>
<p>This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced financial accountant with strong technical financial accounting experience to join a purpose-driven organisation that supports life-changing work for seriously ill children and their families.</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>You will support the preparation of the charity’s statutory financial statements and work closely with external auditors during the year-end audit. The role also involves maintaining robust balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accurate fund accounting, and overseeing compliance with VAT and corporation tax requirements.</p>
<p>You will help ensure appropriate accounting treatment across the organisation, maintain strong financial controls, and contribute to improvements in finance processes and systems. The position also provides exposure to technical accounting developments, including upcoming changes to FRS102 and the Charities SORP.</p>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>We are looking for an experienced finance professional with strong financial accounting experience and a proven track record of supporting statutory accounts preparation and audit processes.</li>
<li>You will have excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.</li>
<li>You will ideally have experience managing complex restricted and unrestricted funding, or similar experience in a complex organisation.</li>

                    <description><![CDATA[<p>Ivy Rock Partners are working with a well-established organisation to recruit a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to support and strengthen a busy Accounts Payable function. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to combine oversight responsibilities with hands-on involvement in a fast-paced finance team.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Accounts Payable service, helping to maintain strong financial controls while supporting improvements to existing processes and systems.</p>
<p>The role will involve supervising day-to-day Accounts Payable activity and ensuring supplier payments, expenses and related financial transactions are processed accurately and within agreed timescales. The position will also contribute to improving internal finance processes and maintaining positive working relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers. This is a practical role where you will support operational delivery while helping to enhance reporting, systems and ways of working.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities</p>
<ul>
<li>Supervise and support the Accounts Payable team, ensuring workloads are managed effectively and deadlines are achieved</li>
<li>Oversee the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, expenses and payment runs</li>
<li>Review and monitor monthly reconciliations for key balance sheet control accounts</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures and internal control requirements</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to enhance processes, improve data accuracy and strengthen the Accounts Payable function</li>
<li>Respond to supplier queries and internal finance queries in a professional and timely manner</li>
<li>Assist with the preparation of reports and performance information relating to Accounts Payable activity</li>
<li>Support internal and external audit requirements where required</li>
</ul>
<p>About you</p>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrable Accounts Payable experience, including supervising, mentoring or guiding colleagues</li>
<li>Comfortable working with finance systems and reporting tools</li>
<li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment</li>
<li>Clear communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across the organisation</li>
<li>Experience contributing to process improvements within a finance or transactional finance function</li>
<li>A hands-on approach and willingness to support operational delivery when required</li>
