Salary range of £60,819 – £67,810
Hybrid working of 1-2 days in the office per week.

To help support the growth of this team, we are delighted to be working with Barnet Council in their search for five Finance Managers across a variety of areas.

A diverse and varied Finance Manager opportunity has arisen on a fixed-term contract basis to cover maternity leave. The role will play an integral part in work across a number of the corporate functions of the finance team, covering back office, finance, and HR stakeholders, among others.

As a Finance Manager, you will be expected to be a professional lead within your area of finance, providing expertise and high-quality financial services to senior stakeholders, proactively contributing to the achievement of the finance service’s vision, and contributing towards an innovative, high-performance, and continuous improvement culture.

Your key accountability will cover strategic advisory guidance, financial management, financial planning and budgeting, and compliance. As well as assisting in the development, implementation, and review of change management programmes to deliver continuous improvement
To be successful in this role, you will be fully CCAB qualified with substantial business partnering experience, ideally within a public sector or not-for-profit organisation and the ability to demonstrate a range of soft skills, including relationship building, negotiation, influencing, and facilitation.

You will have strong analytical skills, both financial and non-financial. The ability to see the value in the information you provide and to inspire others to make use of it.
