Finance Manager

London

We’re recruiting for a Finance Manager role with significant exposure to operational leaders, boards, and committees, offering the opportunity to influence decision-making, drive value for money, and support the delivery of essential property and maintenance services.

The role

Reporting into the Head of finance, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of financial services across a sizeable property services operation (c.£150m annual spend). You will act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders, combining strong technical finance capability with commercial insight and leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering closely with senior operational leaders to provide strategic financial advice and challenge
  • Leading the production of management accounts, KPIs, forecasts and board-level reporting
  • Managing, developing and motivating a small team of qualified finance professionals
  • Supporting annual budgeting and medium-term financial planning processes
  • Providing financial appraisal and due diligence for business cases and investment decisions
  • Overseeing year-end financial accounting, audit processes and statutory reporting inputs
  • Ensuring robust financial controls, governance, and risk management across the service area
  • Driving continuous improvement in financial systems, processes and reporting
  • Representing finance in discussions with internal and external stakeholders
