Interim Head of Finance
An exciting opportunity for an experienced finance leader to join a large, high-profile public sector organisation.
Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will:
- Oversee financial control and reporting across a multi-billion-pound capital programme.
- Provide critical insight to programme delivery activities, ensuring value for money.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, treasury reporting, and annual audits.
- Manage Financial Control, Accounts Payable, FP&A and Business Partnering teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders including Treasury, Audit bodies, and programme executives.
About You:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in large, complex organisations.
- Skilled in financial leadership, stakeholder management, and delivering high-quality reporting.
- Comfortable operating in an evolving environment, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Experience in public sector reporting is desirable.
