Programme Integration Director

Central London

Day Rate: £900 – £1,100 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract: Temporary, until July next year (with potential extension)
Location: Central London, 3 days/week onsite

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Programme Integration Director to play a pivotal role in one of the largest and most strategically significant change programmes currently underway. This high-profile initiative impacts over 4,000 staff and has direct oversight at the highest level.
The successful candidate will lead integration across two critical programmes – a Pay and Reward Review and an ERP implementation – ensuring seamless alignment, robust governance and delivery of organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic alignment across interdependent programmes to enable enterprise-wide transformation.
  • Lead integration planning and manage cross-cutting dependencies across workstreams.
  • Establish effective governance structures, reporting mechanisms and risk management frameworks.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, HR, change management and stakeholder engagement leads to support readiness for change.
  • Ensure new ways of working are successfully Embedded into Business as Usual (BAU).
  • Provide insight, challenge and guidance to maintain focus and value-driven delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including Trade Unions, in complex and sensitive environments.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale change and programme integration within complex organisations.
  • Strong background in HR transformation, ideally with experience in pay and reward reviews and payroll/ERP implementation (SAP ERP experience highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability to establish infrastructure and governance in complex programmes.
  • Gravitas, confidence, and authority to report directly to senior leadership and challenge stakeholders where necessary.
  • Experience of working in politically sensitive environments, with the ability to navigate complex dynamics.
  • Willingness to undergo police vetting may be required.
