£550/day Inside IR35 – 2 Days in London office – Initial 3-Month Contract
Our South London based Local Authority client is seeking a Service Designer (GDS) with a strong background in human-centred design and the development of AI-driven solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in transforming public services by designing and delivering user-centric services that meet the needs of both citizens and internal stakeholders.
Local government experience is highly desirable.
Remote interviews are likely to take place between 10th December-12th December.
Key Responsibilities for the Service Designer (GDS):
- Lead the end-to-end service design process for AI-related initiatives
- Conduct and analyse user research interviews
- Build personas and map customer journeys to identify key opportunities
- Extract and translate data insights into actionable service improvements
- Facilitate ideation sessions, create prototypes, and lead user testing
- Collaborate closely in Agile, delivery-focused environments
- Engage and manage stakeholders, including those resistant to change
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture
