Due to the client requirement, these roles will be paid in monthly instalments rather than weekly.
Our Public Sector client have an immediate requirement for a Project Manager (Applications, Government, Datasets) to join on an initial 6-month contract.
This role will be key in leading coordination of the workstream to review in use applications and lifecycle datasets.
Key responsibilities for the Project Manager (Applications, Government, Datasets) include:
- Operational Capability – comprising the application ownership data, lifecycle data, reporting capability and supporting tooling.
Asset Acceptance & Handover Package – an outcomes-focused plan showing how the defined asset components will be created, tested, accepted and handed over. - Integrated Delivery Plan – a cross-package plan maintained with PM from different team, to align dependencies between the applications programme capital outputs.
- Delivery Evidence Pack – regular evidence of progress against asset creation, output quality and readiness for acceptance.
- Extended Reporting Capability – additional reporting artefacts and dashboard functionality developed from the application asset data assets, enhancing the capability created through the programme investment.
- Coordinate the activities required to create asset components within the funding period.
- Drive the team to produce, quality-assure and evidence each defined output.
- Resolve delivery dependencies and decisions that would otherwise block creation of the asset.
- Ensure tooling procurement and implementation activity remains aligned to the asset being created.
- Maintain an outcomes-focused plan that tracks build, validation, acceptance and handover milestones.
- Maintain cross-programme coordination with Project Manager from different team where this affects delivery of the Applications Programme capital outputs.
